Don Yancy established Don Yancy & Sons Nursery in 1960, making this our 48th year as a family owned and operated nursery. We grow a wide variety of shade and ornamental trees, as well as some varieties of shrubs and evergreens. Ginkgo trees are our specialty. We have ginkgos from 5′ in height to 10″ caliper and are equipped to ship them throughout the United States and Canada. We strive to maintain the highest quality plant material at a fair price. On July 6, 2010 Bill succumbed  to lymphoma after an extended battle.  Bill was an influence in his community being actively involved in local politics, serving as a county commissioner.  He was an avid bass fisherman, sharing his love of the outdoors with anyone he could.  Bill was a devout Christian, and lived his life in a way that reflected Christ to others.  He was a nurseryman for 49 years and co-owner of Don Yancy & Sons Nursery.  Most importantly, Bill was a husband, father, son and brother.  Bill will be greatly missed in his community, his circle of friends, his church, his horticultural industry, but most of all Bill will be missed by our family.
